【For Honda Rebel 500】 Diabolus Short Custom Exhaust for a Deep, Dark Style

The "RB0029," released by K-SPEED’s flagship brand "Diabolus," is a slip-on short custom exhaust specially designed for the Honda Rebel (CMX) 500 (2017 and later models).

Featuring a short bobber design, this exhaust accentuates the presence of the Rebel 500's powerful V-twin-like parallel twin engine while tightening up the rear of the bike to the limit. Its blacked-out matte finish and dual-exit tail design create a dark and wild look that will command attention on the street.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1. Which models and years is the K-SPEED RB0029 exhaust compatible with?

A. It is compatible with all Honda Rebel (CMX) 500 models from 2017 onwards. Please note that it is not compatible with the Rebel 250 or Rebel 1100 due to differences in exhaust pipe diameter and mounting points.

Q2. Can it be installed on a Rebel 250?

A. No. While the RB0029 can be physically mounted on a Rebel 250 (models prior to 2024), it does not have a silencer, which will result in a very loud volume. On the 500, the exhaust is silenced by the catalytic converter located under the vehicle chassis.

Q3. Can I install this myself (DIY)? Do I need professional expertise?

A. As it is a slip-on type that involves removing and replacing the stock muffler, it can be installed with basic tools and maintenance knowledge. However, because it requires checking exhaust gaskets and precise torque management, we recommend having it installed by a motorcycle shop or custom specialist if you are not confident.

Q4. Is an ECU fuel map adjustment (injection tuning) necessary when replacing the exhaust?

A. In general, it is possible to install and ride the bike with the stock fuel settings. However, since slip-on replacement changes exhaust efficiency, we recommend using an ECU fuel map adjustment if you desire smoother acceleration and a reduction in afterfire.
